I have worked with a few different Leopard Cat lines but have had the unique experience of owning two Asian Leopard Cats. Although it was a neat experience, I do not recommend them to be purchased as pets. Below are some of the Asian Leopard Cats I have owned or are part of the pedigrees of my cats.
According to The International Cat Association (TICA) ''The goal of the Bengal breeding program is to create a domestic cat which has physical features distinctive to the small forest-dwelling wildcats, and with the loving, dependable temperament of the domestic cat. Keeping this goal in mind, judges shall give special merit to those characteristics in the appearance of the Bengal which are distinct from those found in other domestic cat
breeds.''
Although that is the vision of TICA for this breed, each breeder develops the traits they find most important. Round ears and white tummies I have found to be the most difficult. Most kittens have light or white tummies but they cream over as they grow up. The ear shape typically stays the same. I address more of the specific traits on my BENGAL TRAITS page.
